V-Belts are usually used to be transmission parts, and V-Belts can also be used in some places where higher speed is required. In the process of use, sometimes we maybe to meet that the V-belt will be broken. Below, we introduce the reasons for the broken of the V-belt. 1. If the V-Belt is used for a long time, exceeded the service life of the V-belt, the structure of the V-belt will be damaged, and the V-belt will be broken. 2. If the V-belt has quality problems, the V-belt will be also broken. For example, the V Belt tensile strength is poor, the quality of the belt outer cloth is not good enough, etc.
3. Wrong use V-Belt can also cause the V-belt to break. The reason may be incorrect installation during use; when multiple V-belts are used together, it must be noted that the length of the V-belt used together is controlled to be the same Length, so that they are balanced in force, to avoid the influence of different lengths on the use of the V-belt; and if the length of the V-belt is too short during installation, it exceeds its elongation, breaking behavior is inevitable.
In order to avoid the broken of the V-belt, we should check the V-belt regularly. The correct inspection method is as follows:
Apply a straight pressure of about 2 kilograms to the middle of each tape V-Belt by hand, and the appropriate sink amount is (20-30) mm. If unsuitable situations are found, make adjustments in time.
Note when using: new and old V-belts cannot be mixed to use together. When double or three or more V-belts need to be replaced, use the same batch and the same type of V-belts to ensure that the length and tensile and compressive properties of each group of V-belts are basically the same.
If the old and new V-belts are mixed together or the number of V-belts is reduced, it will cause uneven forces on the old and new V-belts, and even some V-belts will not work, affecting power transmission and shortening the service life of the V-belts.
