Arrangement density and arrangement of flail hammer blades

For straw shredding and returning machines, under the same working width and the same rotation speed of the cutter shaft, the increase in the number of flail hammer blades will improve the effect of straw crushing. But its not that the more flail hammer blades the better, the quantity of flail hammer blades should have the most suitable quantity. If the quantity of flail hammer blades is too small, the flail hammer blades is not fully cut and hit, and the straw crushing requirement cannot be met. Too many flail hammer blades, on the one hand, the no-load power consumption and starting torque increase, lead to increased manufacturing costs; on the other hand, too many flail hammer blades make it difficult for the crushed straw to be discharged quickly, causing blockage and affecting the crushing quality. The most suitable quantity of flail hammer blades is generally determined by the density.
 
The blades are arranged in several forms, such as single (or double) spiral arrangement, star arrangement and symmetric arrangement. Generally, the flail hammer blades are arranged in a single (or double) spiral line; the Y-type blades are arranged in a star shape; the straight-knife blades are arranged in a symmetrical manner. Regardless of the arrangement, the requirements should be met: (1) The arrow shaft bears uniform force and meets the requirements of dynamic balance. (2) The radial included angle between two adjacent blades should be greater than 60°.
 
The reasonable arrangement of flail hammer blades can not only improve the crushing quality of the straw shredding and returning machine, but also make the straw shredding and returning machine have good dynamic balance performance and stable operation. In fact, there are many reasons that affect the performance of the straw shredding and returning machine. Such as: the gap between the fixed blades; the working space between the end of the flail hammer blades and the shell wall; the linear velocity and kinetic energy of the end of the flail hammer bladesthe space between the entrance and exit of the straw; the density of the straw, the moisture content, the working performance of the straw shredding and returning machine etc. Therefore,   considering all these reasons can the crushing quality of the straw shredding and returning machine reach the best level.
