The plane of rotation of the ordinary disc plow is not perpendicular to the ground, but slightly inclined. There is an angle between the plane of rotation and the vertical line of the ground called the inclination, which is generally about 30°~45°. For ordinary disc plows with an inclination angle, the deflection angle is represented by the acute angle between the horizontal diameter of the disc blades and the forward direction line. It can make the disc blades easy to cut and take the soil and make it turn over after being raised. Disc plows are generally installed with scrapers above and behind the concave surface of the disc blades to prevent soil adhesion. The scraper surface also assists in turning over. The rotating surface of the disc blades of the vertical disc plough is perpendicular to the ground surface, with only a deflection angle but no inclination. Vertical disc plows have smaller disc blades, and there are more disc blades on a plough (the number of discs in a large vertical disc plow can reach 30-40), and is mainly used for shallow ploughing and stubble removal. It can also be equipped with a seed box and a fertilizer box for joint operations of tillage, sowing and fertilization. Ordinary disc plows also have two-way disc plows that can go to the left or to the upper right. The plough beam installed with the plough post can swing horizontally to the left and right relative to the plough frame to adapt to the change of the disc. The reversing mechanism has mechanical or hydraulic type. At the beginning of the two-way disc plow, the soil is always turned to one side of the field, and the ground surface is level after ploughing, leaving no ridges.
