Bolts are connecting parts of steel structures. According to the bearing capacity, they can be divided into ordinary bolts and high-strength bolts. The following describes the notes in the installing of steel structure bolts.
1. For the bolt connection of dynamic load or important parts, the spring washer should be placed according to the design requirements, and the spring washer must be set on the side of the nut. 2. The installation of high-strength bolts should be able to through the holes freely, and forbiddenforce through. The hole diameter of steel plate which connect the high-strength bolted is a little larger than the bolt diameter, and it must be drilled and formed. 3. High-strength bolts are usually divided into friction connection, tension connection and pressure connection according to the connection form. Now, friction connection is the basic connection form widely used . 4.The installation sequence of high-strength bolts: should be operating from the rigid part to the free end. The high-strength bolts on a joint should be tightened one by one from the middle of the bolt group to the surroundings for the initial, re-tightening and final tightening. Each tightening shall be marked with a different color paint to prevent leakage. The initial tightening, re-tightening and final tightening of high-strength bolts in the same joint should be completed within 24 hours. If there is no prescribed design, it should be carried out according to the construction process sequence of first tightening the high-strength bolts and then welding (ie tightening first and then welding).
